Hi, I’m Lisa! I’m a self pro-claimed fashionista who loves to celebrate the luxe in life! I’m married to my high school sweetheart – we have been together since I was 17 years old! Together, we share two incredible fur babies, our pups, Ziggy & Zoië. We live in the Washington DC metro area, in Northern VA. I majored in Fashion Merchandising in college, and have always been drawn to fashion and beauty. Truth be told, I have the movie Clueless to thank for helping me tap into my inner fashionista when I was young (I can’t be the only one…am I? LOL). On the flip side, I’m highly athletic and have played soccer competitively my whole life including in college — and proudly, continue to do so to this day. I consider myself sporty and stylish. My personal style leans more towards classics and basics but amped up with designer embellishments i.e., shoes and bags! I love growing my collection of must-have bags and beautiful shoes. I am also obsessed with all things pretty, and am a sucker for beauty products and makeup; I barely get through anything before I’m on to the next! Another passion of mine is travel; I am a huge fan of anywhere with blue water and a beach! I love mixing it up and will happily book quick weekend trips and extended holidays — I always like to have something on the books to look forward to. My favorite travel companion is of course my husband, but my girl friends are a very close second. You may be surprised to know I also totally dig a solo getaway and throughly enjoy traveling on my own. I also started attending yoga and pilates retreats over the last three years and am hooked!
I decided to start this blog as a creative outlet for myself; professionally, I’ve been in a typical office environment for so long, which doesn’t really provide me an avenue to express my creativity or pursue my passions directly. I’m looking forward to being able to share my interests and lifestyle with you in hopes that we can connect and inspire each other to actively celebrate all the luxe in life!
