Hi friends!
If you followed along with my stories and posts from this past weekend, you know I was graciously hosted at the Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center! I’m excited to share with you the full recap of my stay.
Tysons Corner
In case you don’t already know, in the Northern VA area, Tysons Corner has always been the place to be. It has two world class malls, and an abundance of high end shops and restaurants.
I was beyond excited that I actually got to call Tysons home for the weekend while staying at the Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner. I hope it was evident in my IG stories and posts, that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in a fabulous suite on the 16th floor! You can find a full video walk-through of the suite HERE.
The Suite
First though, I’m pretty sure there is nothing better than a personal greeting and warm welcome, such as this gift and note I found upon entering my suite!
The unit was light and bright with multiple walls of floor to ceiling windows. The living room was spacious and comfortable, had a ton of seating, and of course, amazing views.
The bedroom was separated from the living room and entryway by a sliding door. There was also a spacious dressing area, with ample closet space and a vanity table connected to the bedroom (see video to view this area).
The suite’s bathroom, was divine – it was so bright and airy, with dual sinks, an amazing shower, and a perfectly placed full length mirror. The mirror captured so much natural light and reflection; it truly was a blogger’s dream set up!
The Event
The Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner was also kind enough to accommodate a Blogger Get Together and photo shoot I was hosting that weekend. Our group loved having access to the amazing suite, and the common areas of the hotel. We felt 110% welcome all over the hotel, and grateful for the opportunity to capture some fun photos in such an amazing location! For the photo shoot, I invited a few of my fellow DC bloggers, @district.vy, @opalsandobsessions, and @whitesilkblackleather to join me for the afternoon.
Cheers!
The Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner team even surprised us with a tray of mimosas, and a personal note of support for our endeavors that day!
Getting Glam
To kick things off, we were so lucky to have our makeup done by the gorgeous and talented @makeupbybrierenzi.
Capturing the Suite Life
After getting our makeup done, we all took turns shooting looks in, and around the suite. We were really blessed to have had our day captured by the incredible duo of photographers, @sandross.alim and his wife Heather.
The Hotel Lobby
After getting some great pictures in the suite, we then made our way down to the hotel lobby to capture some fun group shots. The Hyatt was wonderful about letting us use their common spaces and we were really able to get some amazing photos, which actually turned out to be my favorites from the day!
Again, we loved the decor and all of the natural light in the lobby. We definitely took full advantage of the space!
Dinner at Barrel & Bushel
After we wrapped up an incredibly fun day of shooting, my husband joined me for dinner at Barrel & Bushel. The food there was AMAZING! You can view their full menu HERE. To get started, we were presented with some of their signature items off the menu by one of their chefs!
Brunch at Barrel & Bushel
The next morning we were back at Barrel & Bushel for brunch before heading home.
We were treated to more signature specialties at brunch, including my favorites, the 72-hour Pork Belly and the Fried Chicken Sliders!
Barrel & Bushel has a great sit-down environment, but you can also pick up some grab and go items as well.
The dine-in restuarant seating at Barrel & Bushel is open and ample, with a really fun, casual vibe.
For larger groups, and/or special events, they also have a really nice private dining area.
In warmer months, the patio is also a fun place to hang out!
I really had such a fabulous weekend at the Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center. Everyone I met was so friendly and welcoming! Another feature I love about the hotel is that it is located directly on the Silver Line of the DC Area Metro System, making it a quick 20 minute train ride into the city! I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner anytime you require accommodations in Northern Virginia, or the DC Metro area.
Appreciation
Again, sincere thanks to the Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center for my hosted stay and complimentary meals at Barrel & Bushel. I truly felt on top of the world in my luxurious suite and so well taken care of by everyone at the hotel and restaurant.
