Tatcha for the Win!
I’ve been a fan of the Tatcha line for a little while, but only had a few products prior to Sephora’s VIB sale that just ended. Since I’m a Rouge member, I got 20% off all of my purchases so it was a great opportunity to try a lot of new items and I certainly picked up a few more products to add to my Tatcha collection.
The Deep Cleanse is a gentle oil-free gel cleanser that lathers into a foam and leaves your skin nice and soft. It’s good for those that want to help minimize pores, smooth uneven skin texture and those prone to oiliness.
The Water Cream is a great lightweight, oil-free moisturizer that leaves the skin hydrated, but not sticky or greasy. It’s a great option for oily skin like mine, and it also has anti-aging properties. I got both the Deep Cleanse and the Water Cream in a set from Sephora which you can find here.
The Water Gel is another great moisturizer for oily skin as it helps balance skin and refine pores. It’s still hot and humid in my neck of the woods so I love that it’s lightweight and absorbs quickly; it’s perfect for layering under my sunscreen.
The Gold Camellia Beauty Oil was something I was on the fence about since it’s so expensive, but it was so silky and luxurious when I tried it on in the store, I knew I would be bringing it home. It was very hydrating and not sticky/shiny oily, but more soft and satiny. I love that you can use it on your face, body and hair as an all purpose product which will help ensure I use it all considering the cost. With the Sephora sale, it was a good deal in my opinion and I knew I really wanted it after I kept looking at it during all three visits to Sephora during the sale.
The Pearl is a tinted eye illuminating treatment that helps cover dark eye circles and provides moisture and radiance with light reflecting pigments. I got the color softlight, which is a neutral shade for medium-tan skin. It blends in really well and provides a nice silky finish.
The Violet-C Radiance Mask is a great mask that tackles dullness, uneven texture and skin tone, dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles. The creamy formula is packed with Vitamin-C and antioxidants to help protect skin from UV damage. I have already started using this and love the way my skin feels afterwards.
The Luminous Dewy Skin Mist was actually part of set I got and I love that with a quick spritz I can have a nice dewy complexion that feels moisturized and refreshed. I think this will be essential in the colder, dryer winter months when my skin can feel a bit tight and dry.
The Camellia Cleansing Oil is a fantastic cleanser that melts away makeup and impurities and best of all leaves behind silky smooth skin. I love how easy it is to take off all of my makeup at the end of the day without stripping my skin of essential hydration. This cleansing oil is one of my favorite products from Tatcha!
The Camellia Gold Spun Lip Balm was another item I was on the fence about. I tend to lose all of my lip products since I carry them around with me, so I was wary about spending this much on a lip product. But I’m a sucker for some gold lol, and wanted to give it a try. I’ve only used it once and so far so good; it’s not a super gold finish if that’s a concern, it’s definitely moisturizing and leaves lips smooth, soft, and shimmery.
The Silk Canvas is an amazing primer! It’s priming balm that leaves a soft, velvety, blurred finish. It has a fab finish including pink and gold pearls to help even skin tone. It’s designed to help prevent clogged pores as it acts as a barrier against makeup and environmental factors. I have a few primers that I love but I have no doubt that this is going to be right up there at the top. The finish of this primer is unreal, you have to try it!
All in all, I’m super glad I decided to expand my Tatcha collection; I am excited to introduce all of these products into my skincare and makeup routine. If you buy from the Tatcha website, you can receive a special gift with your first purchase.
