The Living Room
Upon entry into the home, you’re greeted by a welcoming living space, complete with rocking chair and desk/work space. This area offers ample seating and room to spread out. I love the neutral and sophisticated decor. As with all of the spaces in the home, nothing is overdone or cluttered, just perfectly accessorized.
The Bedroom
The bedroom is such a relaxing retreat, featuring high-quality linens for perfect night’s sleep. It’s filled with tons of light, and accessible from the living room, closet/laundry room, and bathroom. I love all of the windows and the classy and cozy vibes. The space is open and airy, and the selected furnishings and decor are simply perfect.
The Bathroom & Closet
Two of a girl’s most important rooms in a home, am I right? 🙂 Both spaces in this cottage receive my seal of approval. First, how gorgeous is this bathroom? The shower, the marble countertop, the hardware…all HGTV worthy if I say so myself!
The closet space is fabulous too. I adore the fun garment rack and the ample space provided for luggage and storage. What’s especially great, is the convenient and easy access to the washer and dryer! The monogrammed robes and extra pillows and linens are such a great touch as well.
The Kitchen & Dining Room
The heart of the home is always the kitchen, and the Modern Farmhouse Getaway’s kitchen is not only adorable but features high end appliances, marble countertops, glass paneled cabinets, various coffee selections, a thoughtful snack jar, AND farm fresh eggs! You can even request fresh eggs daily during your stay, or collect them yourself from the chicken coop.

This home is so tranquil and ideal for a romantic getaway or relaxing retreat. It’s close enough to major thoroughfares and activities in Loudoun County, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life, providing the ultimate escape. I seriously can’t rave enough about how special this home is. The owner’s are also super nice, helpful, and welcoming.
