Oh my goodness, had so much fun last weekend in Beverly Hills/West Hollywood with my friend Tara!ย We took the redeye home on Sunday night, and I’ve been slammed at work this week, so I’m just getting around to posting about my trip now.
First of all, I LOVE going to California; if I could live there I most definitely would! I love the Beverly Hills/West Hollywood area too, along with Santa Monica, those are probably my most visited and favorite LA destinations. We stayed at one of my favorite little boutique hotels, The Hotel Beverly Terrace.
Ok, yes, from the outside, you probably wouldn’t think it was such a fab find, but it truly is. The interior and hotel grounds are super cute and chic.
The rooms are on the small side, but they have everything you need and perfect for a good night’s sleep. After all, you aren’t planning on spending your whole day in your room right?
They also have the cutest restaurant onsite, Cafe Amici. Hotel guests enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast spread each morning and it’s a superb way to start your day in LA!
The location of the hotel CANNOT be beat! It’s at the intersection of N. Doheny, Santa Monica Blvd, and Melrose Ave. Perfect walking distance to all things West Hollywood/Beverly Hills.
My friend Tara and I are big Lisa Vanderpump fans and we wanted to have our own #vanderpump weekend, which meant visiting SUR, Pump, Villa Blanca, and Vanderpump Dogs.
We were able to walk to SUR and Pump from our hotel and ended up at these two places a few times over the weekend. What was even better, we met some of the cast of Vanderpump Rules as they were filming while we were there!
Of all LVP’s restaurants, my favorite is probably Pump; it’s so pretty inside. The garden area is just lovely, as you can imagine with fresh flowers and luxe decor all about. The drinks are delicious and the food is better than I had orginally expected!
The weather in LA is just divine. It’s warm, but not boiling, it’s sunny and beautiful and pretty much perfect. Apparently, I missed a major weekend of heavy rain back here in northern VA, so it was even more noteworthy this trip lol. I was so happy to have comfortable and predictable weather and got to wear some of my favorite outfits out and about. I love this lace trimmed body suit from Alpha & Omega, paired with some cute shorts from Express, and of course, accented with Valentino shoes and matching clutch purse!
Another favorite, was this Vici Collection sundress; totally cute and casual, and this time paired perfectly with Valentino pvc flats and Gucci shades and bag.
I went all Gucci for our last day in town and this was my travel outfit home! #flyinstyle ๐
